Rethreading

As I was looking back on the decade which ends this year, there is a band which popped out in the millennium and gave us good yet radio-friendly music - Coldplay.

They gave us all the reassurance we needed from the first song of their debut album. Or am I not cynical enough?

Don't Panic - Coldplay

Oh, we're sinking like stones,
All that we fought for,
All those places we've gone,
All of us are done for.

We live in a beautiful world,
Yeah we do, yeah we do,
We live in a beautiful world,

Oh, we're sinking like stones,
All that we fought for,
All those places we've gone,
All of us are done for.

We live in a beautiful world,
Yeah we do, yeah we do,
We live in a beautiful world.

Oh, all that I know,
There's nothing here to run from,
And there, everybody here's got somebody to lean on.

#1 : The Dark Knight

There is nothing to write about. Expecting something else? It's a shame the Academy decided to give the film 8 nominations. It should have been 10. Best Picture and Best Director - Christopher Nolan for the incredible vision he had to make this film possible.

And of course Heath Ledger. You'll be missed.

Recap:

#1 : The Dark Knight
#2 : WALL-E
#3 : There Will Be Blood
#4 : No Country For Old Men
#5 : The Diving Bell And The Butterfly
#6 : Away From Her
#7 : Persepolis
#8 : Eastern Promises
#9 : Juno
#10 : The Savages
